About
I'm John Saunders, a software engineer. I have spent decades building, consulting on, and designing systems, mostly in C#, ASP.NET, TypeScript, and React. These days I work as a principal engineer.
Lately I run a small crew of AI agents, on local and cloud models, to get real work done. This site is where I write about that: what works, what breaks, and what I would do differently next time.
If you want the short version: I care about software that holds up, and about writing clearly enough that someone else could rebuild what I built.
